Enviral GH is a Ghana-based nonprofit transforming environmental health challenges into viral stories that inspire change.
We spotlight underreported crises such as informal e-waste recycling, where pollution silently endangers communities.
By blending scientific research with powerful storytelling, we bridge the gap between data and public action, engaging communities, policymakers, and global audiences.
Our goal is to turn overlooked problems into urgent priorities and drive lasting change.
Our flagship campaign is centered on **Agbogbloshie**, one of the world’s most toxic e-waste sites in Accra.
We push for national and international accountability under the Basel Convention to stop illegal e-waste dumping.
At the same time, we raise awareness through community forums, short films, and storytelling campaigns.
Public health monitoring is also underway to track the long-term effects of toxic exposure on recyclers and residents.
This campaign is about more than raising alarms — it’s about charting a clear path toward safe, formal recycling systems.
One of our most impactful initiatives is a feasibility study for Ghana’s first **formal e-waste recycling center**.
This facility would replace unsafe practices with modern recycling technology that recovers valuable metals without harming workers or the environment.
It will create jobs, reduce toxic emissions, and keep economic value within Ghana.
Inspired by Japan’s Olympic medal recycling model, this project proves that circular economy solutions can begin in Agbogbloshie — turning crisis into opportunity.
